nicky [nick-e] melville is a Scottish poet based in Edinburgh. His magnum-opus The Imperative Commands was published in 2022 (Dostoyevsky Wannabe); Decade of Cu ts, his selected poems, in 2021 with Blue Diode Press. He is working on the sequel to ABBODIES and ABBODIES COLD (Sad Press 2017 & 2020), in which pop legends ABBA team up with problematic fave James Bond to make sense of the horror of Brexit and the resurgence of nationalism. melville is a Teaching Fellow in Creative Writing at the University of Edinburgh and a Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow.
